About Enzo

Adoption Fee: $350
Poodle / German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Per DNA testing, we know that this scruffy guy is Enzo, an energetic Shephard/Poodle/Terrier mix.%BD%A0 Enzo's unique coat is low shedding but definitely not hypoallergenic.%BD%A0 He is 50 lbs, born in January 2021, and knows basic obedience commands as well as some fun tricks.%BD%A0 He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, house trained, uses a dog door, or will wait to go out.%BD%A0 He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate overnight and while his foster parents are away at work. Enzo is good with other appropriate dogs. He can be initially tentative in new environments, busy environments and meeting new people but warms up with just a little patience. Enzo appreciates positive structure and a less hectic home environment. He will do best in a calm home without small active children or small critters to chase. He walks well on leash and appreciates a quieter neighborhood or nature environments for his walks and hikes. Quiet morning walks to explore and sniff are his favorite. A calm confident doggy pal can help him see everything is OK. He is very trainable, food motivated, and has responded really well in his foster home. He does fine on long quiet hikes and loves playing at the dog beach.%BD%A0 He knows both verbal and hand signals.%BD%A0 He did very well in a NoseWork class where the instructor was impressed with his ability to search and he shows a lot of potential for competition. He has been desensitized to lots of loud things like mowers, vacuums and even fireworks, but he may need refreshers periodically. Enzo loves playing with his people, sharing rope toys with other dogs for a game of tug, doing puzzle games, searching for toys or treats, and learning new tricks.%BD%A0 Enzo is best friend material for someone who enjoys nice quiet walks, structured playtime and a calm environment.
