We're a military family getting sent overseas on July 26th and our long term foster can no longer take our dogs due to health problems. We need help and fast! Grover Cleveland is about 8 or 9 years old. Current on veterinary care, vaccines, and heartworm prevention. No known health problems; tests positive for Ehrlichia due to prior heartworm infection. He's a sweet, handsome dog with a friendly disposition - he wants to say hi to all people and all dogs. He's enchanted by cats and some cats may not appreciate the extra attention, but he's no danger to them. We've had him for just shy of 5 years and he's a great companion, he just loves being around his people. Bananas are his very favorite treat, which is helpful as he's very food motivated and needs to get healthy snacks. He's house-trained, but not crate-trained - we never pushed for him to get okay with crates since he's well-behaved in the house. He's great in an apartment, but really gets confidence from being outside. Just an overall sweet, loving dog and we're desperate to keep him out of a shelter for the second time in his life.
