Hey y'all! It's me Maleficent (3 On June 20th, 2022 the rescue received a call from Parkway Emergency Clinic at 3:30 am asking for help, my previous owner had dumped me and my three newborn puppies on the sidewalk in front of the building. They actually called the clinic to alert them and drove off living me there alone. I was breathing rapidly, scared, and I was highly reactive to everyone. They came out to try and help me and I immediately chased everyone back into the car in fear me or my babies were going to get hurt . Parkway Emergency staff weren't able to exit the building, clients could not enter, no one could do anything because I was terrified. Animal Control showed up to try and help get me into safety but I charged them as well. The sheriffs deputies were then called and the building was surrounded in the front by all. By the grace of God I was on the attack and an officer was able to catch pole me and I was loaded into the van. They grabbed my three puppies handed them to the AC officer who had done an amazing job in our eyes. I had to wait for my stray hold to be up so I could be pulled into the rescue. My puppies all passed , My stray hold was up and I was pulled into rescue. After relaxing everyone learned what a wonderful dog I really am. I was over bred and severely underweight. I have mastitis, growths that need removal, and a list of things they are sure to discover I need including removing most likely all of her entire mammary chain.
