About COREY

Corey came to us from AHS where he was at risk due to some completely treatable and manageable old age conditions. He originally came from a hoarding situation but can be a little defensive initially with new dogs (we are guessing he may have gotten bullied there). Once he learns that the dogs will be nice to him he is completely fine. He does pretty well on his potty routine when given regular opportunities to get out and also uses puppy pads. He walks on a leash but loves being carried too, and does well in a crate. He is a cuddler and his favorite place is on the lap or bed of his person. He has a very sweet temperament and is well socialized. He does have one 'juvenile eye' which has no vision due to either a congenital condition or trauma. His other eye will need meds to keep it healthy but at this time he definitely can still see. He received a dental while in rescue and recovered easily and is otherwise healthy. He is around 11-12 years and is approximately 9 lbs. He might do best in a quieter home as he is very laid back. Interested in Corey?
