About Froyo (Frozen Yogurt)

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Meet Froyo (Frozen Yogurt)! He is a 7 year old Basenji born December 24, 2014. He is a very smart, independent dog who loyal to his family and can keep himself entertained. He has been well trained and listens to commands. He enjoys being outside, taking in all the sounds and smells, and going for walks. In fact, this is why we are looking to re-home Froyo, who has been a very important member of our family. Due to the loss of my wife in 2019, my kids and I have been doing the best we can to give him the time and attention he deserves. He requires more attention and love than we are able to provide him with. Within the last couple of years Froyo has developed seizures. He has been prescribed phenobarbital which he takes twice daily. He is crate trained when we are out of the house and at night. He is a fantastic companion and would really like to be part of a home where someone is home with him during the day, or the majority of the day. He would enjoy being more active (he's packed on some pounds) and could use the daily companionship that our schedules do not currently allow.
