About Penny

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas DOB: 06/17/2021 (Estimate) Hey peeps. I'm Penny - and I could be your next 'lucky penny'. I didn't always have much luck of my own, but my luck is turning around, and yours could too with me by your side. I love my people (I'm AMAZING with kids, big or small!!!), and prefer to be in their presence at all times so I can keep tabs on what they're doing. This allows me to find opportune moments to cuddle with them too. I love to look at my humans with my big brown eyes so they can see how much I love them. Because of my energy, I'm recommending kids over 12 only. Sometimes men, especially if wearing a hat or a hoodie, make me a little nervous but I am continuing to work on it so I can be the bestest dog around town. I'm a youngun', and that means I have some puppy energy to burn off. I'm very playful and sweet; play tug-o-war with me and I'm a happy girl, though sometimes I can be a bit too rambunctious (hey, I'm a young energetic puppy - it happens!). My foster fam has spent a ton of time teaching me things - I love to learn because it usually means TREATS! And I adore treats! My housetraining is going good as long as you keep me on a frequent and regular schedule. And my leash training is a work in progress. I will initially sit to have the leash put on but then I get really excited. A strong handler who won't let me bulldoze my way around would be ideal. I would be a great canine companion for an active family with children who want to include a loving, goof of a dog in all their family adventures. I would love to be a solo dog in a house.
