About Pickle

Hi I'm Pickle! Well at least that's what my foster mom calls me. I'm around 3 years old and used to live outside with all my doggy friends. I'm still adjusting to life as an indoor dog. I am house broken and crate trained (though sometimes I do throw fits when mom has to go to work). I get along greatly with the cats in my foster home. Sometimes I think I'm a cat too because I love to climb on top of the couches and look out the window like they do, mom just laughs at me. When I'm not looking outside I can normally be found laying around on the couch or in my crate chewing on a bone. Though I would much rather take my bones outside and lay in the sun with them. I have recently discovered going for walks and I love them! Walks are almost my favorite part of the day but nothing beats sleeping in my mom's bed at night. I'm still learning to walk on a leash and am not a fan of getting my harness on but I'll do almost anything for a treat! I take time to warm up to new people and can get stressed easily. Once I get to know you you can give me all the pets you want! Sometimes my mom catches me doing things I shouldn't�'�|.It's just that when I get really excited inside that I want to chew on anything in sight, including your remotes. A quick no and I'll stop what I'm doing. I'm a very good boy and just want to please you. I'm very calm so you don't have to worry about me jumping on you.
