Blue was found taking a stroll down Turner Camp Rd. He will be available for adoption on 10/27 it not returned home prior. Blue is so smart and eager to please his people. He seems to understand so much. We wanted a photo of him and a group of volunteers. He was facing the volunteers but when asked to turn around and then 'sit' and 'stay' -- he did just as asked! And he stayed in position until the photo was taken, and he was released. He is quick to obey the 'down' command, and he likes to shake hands when asked. He loves to be rewarded with treats. He likes fruit, especially strawberries! He's calm, playful, and attentive. He seems to like other dogs and he lived with another dog prior to coming to animal services. When we open the lid to the big toy bin he crawls inside to sort through the toys until he finds the one he likes the best. He is especially fond of the purple polka dot pig. He is extremely housebroken and likes to keep his kennel clean. He enjoys attention and is affectionate. He's quite the cuddler! The groomer opened the door to the bathing station and said, 'let's go' and he understood and hopped right in. He did well for his bath and allowed the groomer to suds him up and dry him off. His favorite toys are rope toys and chew toys. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. He is 4.5 years old and weighs 100 pounds.
