About Tessie

Tessie was vetted today and received a good report! She is thought to be 8-12 months old and is heart worm negative! She was so scared to get in the car she had to be carried to the car. We told her foster mom Sara, she probably didn't know if she was going to be dumped again. This is the pup that waited in the parking lot of a gas station where she was dumped out for over a week waiting on her owner to come back and get her. She is being fostered in Maxton NC, which is on the way to the beach and near Lumberton NC. She is doing great in the home and is dog and cat friendly. She loves her ducky, is very calm and loves company. She is working on house training but bless her heart she has probably never lived in the comfort of a real home.
