About Zeref

Please welcome Zeref to our rescue! Zeref is a 4 year old Alaskan Malamute. He is a really big boy, but he is very gentle. He is great with other dogs and would be best going to a home with a lower energy dog! He has a very calm temperament and he loves other dogs but isn't into playing much but loves to have a companion. Zeref is even cat friendly!!! He is crate trained, potty trained, and he knows all of his basic commands. He is currently in training and he will come professionally trained on many commands. His training is also a lifetime guarantee, and the trainer will do sessions so that you can learn his training. Zeref can be a bit insecure and will bark when strangers come into the home, and therefore his adopters will have to continue to work with him and do proper introduction when people are coming into the home. He needs a strong handler who can be the alpha in the house and continue his training work. Zeref has been to dog parks before so he is extremely dog friendly. He would love to go to a home with another big dog in the home. Zeref needs a home who isn't gone all day and he needs a home who can provide tons of mental stimulation. Zeref can be an escape artist so he MUST go to a home with a 6ft fence backyard. Zeref has a a lot of love to give and he really is a gentle giant. We would love for him to go to a home with previous Malamute experience.
