We have a one-year old male, purebred (not yet registered) Vizsla who is looking for a new home. His ideal home will offer plenty of space to run and ample attention to build on the training he has already received. 'Coach' is a sweetheart of a dog with boundless enthusiasm for humans of all ages. He spent 2.5 months in intense behavioral training where he was with the trainer full time. He is as gentle as his size allows (he is on the larger end of the scale for a male V) and has shown no signs of aggression, including to other dogs or our toddler children. He is crate-trained, not much of a barker, does fairly-well on-leash, and responds well to a low-level e-collar during training sessions. Coach is current with all vaccinations, not yet neutered, and in good health. Still in an early-adolescent phase, Coach enjoys digging, chewing on plants, limbs, and other enticing items, and playing keep-away. He is truly at his happiest when off-leash and able to scout his surroundings with his humans. We've seen the difference such opportunities make for him and know that we cannot provide that to him consistently as we live in a fairly dense neighborhood. Our attempts to keep up with him are falling short, and we want the very best life for him. We intend to vet potentials adopters and will ask for information about potential new homes and overall care. Coach isn't going anywhere unless we see that he and a potential home/family are a good fit.
