Dixon came into the shelter as a stray on 5/27/22 with red, irritated collar marks around his neck and skin issues suggesting he had been left tied out somewhere. His skin issue was determined to be flea allergy dermatitis, and Dixon is doing ever so much better now. You'd hardly know to look at him now that he'd ever had a rough life. He's a very sweet and quiet boy, with a gentle and easygoing disposition. He mostly has a lower energy level, but he can kick it up a notch or two if the need arises - like if you bring out the ball for a round of fetch! He likes to play fetch, but he'd rather play with the ball himself for a few seconds than bring it back to you. He also enjoys treats and getting loved on. Dixon already knows how to sit on command and walks pretty well on leash without pulling'|but he does like to stop frequently on walks to smell things. He's just encouraging you to stop and smell the roses as well! Dixon is a 5 year old Staffordshire who came into the shelter as a stray on 5/24/22. He weighs 67 lbs.
