Hi I'm Ethel! I was found lying in the street in the Homestead, FL area unable to see, alone and confused. I had a severe infection in both of my eyes...they were crusted shut. A good samaritan thankfully took pity on me, picked me up and Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took me in. They got my eye infection cleared up and found that I needed Entropion surgery. They made that happen to relieve all of the pain I've been feeling in my eyes for so long and also had a mass removed with clean results! My foster mom says I'm a very active, spunky and alpha senior girl who is very loving and affectionate. I absolutely love my food...who can blame me coming from the ruff life I was trying to survive on the streets? My rescue thinks I look like I'm a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, but can't be sure of my overall breed. I'm so ready for my forever home. Can you make me part of your pack?
