About Violet

Hi, my name is Violet, a beautiful GSD girl. My rescue thinks I am purebred, but I don't have any those papers people talk about. I'm as sweet as can be, even though I had a ruff time for awhile. I was found wandering alone and emaciated in the Redlands area of Miami. Some nice people came along and rescued me and Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue has nursed me back to health. Some people look at my age and call me a 'senior', but I'm an active girl and love to play with my toys. I'm a very smart, well-behaved companion. I walk well on a leash and am so gentle when taking my treats. I'm not the snuggly, needy type, but I like to play and I love making sure my pack is protected. I'm completely housebroken and do not get in any trouble in my foster home. I like to play with my toys and I don't mess with things in the house that do not belong to me. When my foster dad leaves, I wait patiently by the door until he gets home and then show my happiness when he walks in! Now I'm hoping to find a loving family of my own. I'm estimated at between 8 and 9 years old and am friendly with other dog-friendly dogs with proper intro. I have not met a cat, so I can not tell you how I would react to meeting one.
