About Edna

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Edna is a great dog- she loves her people and is very snuggly and loving with her favorite people. She has also been great with our toddler. Edna does not like strangers and has a hard time warming up to new people. She is good with her food and toys but feels uncomfortable having unfamiliar people in her space. This has made it really hard for us to have new care givers for our daughter and we have a new baby on the way. We would like to find a home for Edna where new people and activity is more limited so she can live a stress free life. She would be a great companion for a single person or couple who wanted to invest a lot of time and love with her. We worked with a professional trainer who specialized in breeds like Catahoula and the e have a full written report about how best to work with Edna that we can share if you're interested to hear more. Edna does best with consistent training and she loves to work.
