About Lyndi

Thanks!*************** Lil Lady Lyndi is a great little dog that certainly deserves a wonderful, loving and caring home. Her previous owner said she needed to be put to sleep. But, when the staff at the vet clinic said she was fine and did not have any health issues that would make it necessary for her to be put down they thought they had great news for her person. Nope. The person said, no, I don't want her. How about that?? Pretty sad for Lyndi. Lyndi got her shots and all updated at the clinic as well as being partially sheered down. Her tail and rear end were rather matted and dirty, but that will grow out. Her little opossum tail will soon be fluffy once again. So, we are helping put all of that behind her and she can start a brand new life with a special family that will help her start fresh. Apparently Lyndi did not have much of a life beforehand. Perhaps she was loved, but she was certainly over fed and has become accustomed to have a very sedentary lifestyle. Lyndi should be possibly 10 pounds or so lighter, at least 5 would be a good start. Lyndi would be a terrific walking partner, little walks at first and gradually work yourself up to greater distances as she becomes more mobile. We know she has it in her, when she first got here she was sooooo happy she was doing zoomies out in the yard, too cute. She is going to need people in her life to keep her motivated, if we left it up to Lyndi she would spend the day on her bad, just chillin'. But, when she does go outside she actually enjoy it, loves the outdoors and checking out the yard, going for little walks, she just needs some encouragement(which she can get a little crabby on occasion, no biting just a snarl or two) Currently Lyndi is living with several other dogs in her foster home. She is very patient with them, but obviously not happy about their company. We do have her gated in an adjacent room, the flurry of busy dogs gets her a little anxious. So, we think she will do better in a home as an only dog, and no small children either. Their energy level may be too much for her as well. Lyndi is a very sweet girl, doing her very best to get thru this confusing time in her life. She has the softest coat, such a sweet little face and sure does love her a good belly rub!! She can be a little grumpy when she does not want to move, so will need some persistence and perhaps a person that is confident to care for her. Lyndi is 8 years old and 18 pounds, we are guessing she should be around 10-12 pounds. Her adoption fee is $200. Please email Kristine at [email protected].
