Unfortunately, after almost ten years in our current home we are moving due to family circumstances. Our new home is not conducive to providing our pharaoh hound (Pharah) the optimal quality of life in terms of space and set up. While rehoming is an incredibly difficult decision, we believe it is for the best. We want to rehome Pharah to the best of our ability and preferably someone with breed experience or at least commitment to nurturing breed needs. As you know, pharaoh hounds are unique. Pharah is nine and a half years old and AKC registered. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and in good health. She is trained with good temperament and socialization outside of the normal pharaoh hound characteristics (barking at small animals, prey drive for small animals, chase instincts, can jump non-privacy height fences, needs adequate exercise and yard size). She is great around small children and strangers with no aggression or jumping. I purchased Pharah at eight weeks old from a couple in DC and she has been with us ever since. I am willing to cover any cost associated with rehoming as we are located in Kansas City. We are planning to move in early fall so any insight on rehoming is much appreciated.
