About Sadie & Brodie

Adoption Fee: $200
Australian Shepherd
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Sadie was born on August 13, 2014. She is a female Red Merle and has been with me since she was a pup. She was raised with farm animals and children. She is good with all animals. She will occasionally chase a cat if it runs but she does not aim to harm them. She has always lived in the house with cats and parrots. The farm she was raised on had goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys, pigs. She is an excellent guardian and a great mother to all babies. She did have two litters of pups one at two years of age and one at four years. She was spayed after the second litter. She is very active. She is the boss of her pack. Sadie is classified as a mini-Aussie She weighs about 35-40 lbs. She loves her human and will follow you everywhere. She will load up in the car easy and rides well, but she gets nervous. And she does not like to be away from her bestie, Brody. Brody was born on December 10, 2014. I thought he was a mini when I got him, but he is a huge hunk of furry love. Brody is a black tri. He weighs about 75lbs. He is the most gentle creature on earth. He loves almost everyone. He is an amazing guardian of all things baby and child. When he was little, he was often caught bringing baby ducks and chicks into the house with him at night to protect them. He is very laid back and doesn't realize his size at times. He likes to squeeze in tight places and loves laps. He will load up in the car very easy and loves to ride. It is much harder to get him out than get him in. Brody is my best friend. And even though he is two times Sadie's size, she is his boss! She assists him up and down stairs. She helps him find his way through doorways sometimes if she doesn't realize he is going out and he gets to the door first he will sit and wait for her to come grab his hair and pull him. Brody is neutered. They are very bonded and did not do well when separated. They are both very protective of their pack. No one will come in on you at night. If Brody is loud at night, it's because he needs to go to the bathroom and can't wait. If Sadie is getting in your face and you don't know why, she needs to potty too. If you say 'you got to go out' they will both usually run to the door.I was hoping to relocate them with me overseas but I don't know when I will be able to do that. This breaks my heart. They are simply the best. If you interested in making these sweet babies part of your family, please email me at: [email protected] There is a $200 rehoming fee to assure good folks with goood intentions.
