Get lost in the sweet, brown eyes of Ms. Gypsy Rose! Gypsy sometimes has spurts of energy, but she can also be the perfect couch potato to cuddle and watch movies with you! She is so much fun to be around. She loves being outside, running, and chasing her foster siblings. She has adorable head turns and will certainly make many heads turn as you walk this beauty down the street! Gypsy would thrive most in a home with another dog to play with and to continue to learn socialization skills. She has grown up with cats but will chase them since she thinks they want to play, so a dog-savvy cat family would be fine. Like all puppies, it is time for teething and learning her boundaries. Because of this, a family with older children will be okay, but Gypsy's excitement may knock over a tiny tot. Gypsy has very good leash manners when walking alone or with another well-behaved dog to 'show her the ropes.' Gypsy responds very well to learning through her foster siblings. In addition, lots of play time with all kinds of different toys, tug of war, and teething toys will be needed to keep her mind and body active. Gypsy loves to play fetch and tug. She also loves to settle down and chew on a bone. Gypsy Rose is looking for a family/person who understands puppyhood is work and she needs lots of love and will be patient with her as she grows and learns. She is constantly learning and will require gentle, positive reinforcement training and correction as she grows into a young adult. Gypsy is very smart and learns quickly what is expected of her. She loves to make her people happy, but sometimes needs redirection. Like any young adolescent dog, she sometimes needs reminding of her boundaries. Gypsy is working on simple commands. She knows 'sit,' 'wait,' and 'leave it.' She is working on recall and 'stay.' Continued training, at least fifteen minutes each day is necessary for Gypsy to retain her knowledge and continue to learn. Gypsy is crate trained. She takes her meals and sleeps in her crate at night. A solid fenced yard to run and play is preferred for this little cutie and it should be 4-5ft tall minimum height without gaps. If no fence is available, her new family will need to ensure 4-5 daily outings for walks, play and running around. Gypsy Rose may not be the perfect apartment dog, as she loves to voice her opinion. She has a beautiful bark and knows it very well! DOB 04/03/2022 As part of Gypsy Rose Lee's $275 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
