About Jasper

Jasper is out of his shell! Look out!! This guys is FUUUUUUNNNNYY!!!! Now that he is comfortable he loves to jazz around you, skimmer out away and then back in to perform a few spins in front of you, give a bounce on the floor and then skimmer back out the door trying to get you to chase him. At times, if you are not engaging and he wants you to ... well ..... don't think that a muzzle tap to your buttocks is anything but beneath him LOL !! Be ready for a rear muzzle push if you dare try to walk away when he's trying to play with you! He's a very happy puppy now that he realizes his humans are 'A OK!' and that he is safe and good humans provide him with lots of love, chow and a cozy, safe shelter. Jasper needs a Foster or Adopter that will work slowly with him just at the start to continue to build trust, which shouldn't take much time now his guard is down but best to let him adapt slowly for a more successful transition. Jasper came in reactive to 'normal handling', like being loaded into things like a car, or crate or leashing him. He was just unexposed. He has now become comfortable and gives to a gentle, fun loving personality. He now enjoys being caressed, brushed, hugged and lightly loved on. He loves it so much that now when you stop and walk off he throws downs some playful dance moves. Telling you - 'Hey we aren't done here yet!' ! He's a crack up! He is not dog reactive but has not been placed in a free social situation yet. The focus has been just personal interactoin to Jasper to get him used to handling and interaction. He is playful at approach to dogs that are contained, though, so he should be able to cohabitate with the right partner pup. Jasper is READY for his forever home! PLEASE come meet him and get a really good laugh in ! Even Fostering Jasper or Foster-to-Adopt this cool pup so he can get out of boarding and have more fun interaction time!!
