About Lilo

Adoption Fee: $400
Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

This cute gal is Lilo, an Australian Cattledog who was born in November, 2021. She currently weighs 23 pounds and should grow to mid breed standard size. Lilo has good focus and treat awareness, so is a good learner. She already knows sit and (sometimes) down. She is finishing up house training and crate training. Lilo hasn't met a lot of people but has been nice with the ones she has met. She is definitely a nippy puppy, so no small kids for this girl. In her prior life, she must have not been given rules. She is learning that she can't just take something from a person's hand. Lilo is good with other dogs and, in typical Cattledog fashion, will get snarky with other females if allowed to. Lilo also likes to olay and will pester other dogs to get them to play. Older dogs or dogs who don't appreciate pups will find her to be too much. Any dog pal of hers should also be able to let her know when she needs to settle down. As for cats, she is decent. She will be a menace to a cat who doesn't put her in her place, and will definitely enjoy a chase. A new home needs to help Lilo be less of a demanding pest to her animal friends. Lilo is good on the leash and in the car. She loves water, chomping water as it comes out of the hose. She will even walk into the shower! Lilo likes to fetch and she loves to run and jump to catch the ball. She will go to town on a herding ball. Lilo is a lot of dog. She would be amazing for performance sports. She needs a home who isnt going to treat her like a baby. This pup, without guidance, could be a menace. She is very clever, quite active, and ready for adventure. For that right home, she is worth the work. She enthusiastically bounds into whatever activity you have planned for her. She is at a great point in her life to partner with her person. She even gives kisses. Lilo is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
