About LEAH STARNES

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. LEAH STARNES (named after the show 'SPINING OUT') and her family were found in a house that people were dealing drugs. The independent rescuer that found her saved her from being sold for drugs. That's when we got the call. We rescued all 11 of the kittens / cats. So LEAH STARNES has never known the street life. She has been living a nice pampered life. She is loved and spoiled. LEAH STARNES loves to be petted. When you pick her up, she will start her little motor and purr very loud. Loves to cuddle with her human and cat friends. She does love to play!! When she does play she is really loud and over dramatic. Will need a buddy to play with! LEAH STARNES is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. She is about 3 months old and is good with cats and non-reactive to dogs. She has never been around young children. LEAH STARNES is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, Ca off Madison Avenue. JUNE 2022: With all the needed social distancing, we are still doing adoptions. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. Please note that it is totally up to the volunteers if they are comfortable with allowing you in the cattery. (COVID). Steps 1-5 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Online Application 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 7. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Meet and greets will take place at the Petsmart location where the cat/kitten is currently located at. The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will do meet and greets at any of the 3 Petsmart locations listed below. Gas donations always appreciated! It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
