Yet, after a few days she began to come around. She has integrated into a pack of 8 completely! She is the sweetest thing you can ever imagine and as far as kids - well look at the photos!! She absolutely adores them!!!! Several ages from 2 - 12 are in her foster home, we took it very slow, had muzzle first to be sure but absolutely no bad behaviors have shown at all! She is inseparable from these babies!! Her only downside is that she has been resource guarding her food with the other dogs, not with any humans. We will be working on this to see if it is a temporary issue or if she just needs to be fed separately. She is crate trained, extremely well mannered and loves to be loved on! It's so hard to understand when others give up a Senior Saint Bernard but I am not saying it's always the wrong decision by any means! We are always kind because no one can understand the circumstances of the family that's surrendering, except for them and if they want to give up the dog then care for those years sometimes is just better to get them where they can be loved properly for the rest of their lives!!
