About Clyde

Clyde is both an active pup and a chill pup. He's good if you want to walk, go for a ride, chill on the couch, chill outside�'�| he goes with the flow. He is food driven so any training should be fairly easy. He is housebroken, if given a good routine, He is crate trained and very quiet. He is now good on a leash, he was afraid of being leashed prior. He is people friendly and should be good with kids. He would do best in a home with someone, or a family, that could give him a lot of attention, snuggles, activity and structure. He is best with a routine. The more routine of a schedule the more mellow he is. He is hot and cold with other dogs other than his current companion. He is not aggressive fence to fence but can be unpredictable if he reads something on another dog, therefore he should be the only pet. He is not good with cats. Clyde's backstory is that he and his companion were dumped on a mountain, where some good samaritans worked slowly to gain their trust to get them to safety. Their owners never came for them. It would be great to find a home or two homes that they could continue to live together or visit each other often. But we know this is a stretch in most cases, so getting them into homes even separately would be a blessing for both of these sweet dogs. Please consider Foster, Foster to Adopt for sweet Clyde (and or Bonnie) (or both!!) They are great dogs they just need the right home that will never betray them again.
