This girl can be a bit shy when meeting new people but she is so sweet! When we met her at the shelter she actually lay right in the shelter workers arms and let her pack her around. Give her a few days in a new home to adjust and she will be your best friend. Smug is an easy going girl who has good house manners, is litter box trained, doesn't scratch on furniture (that we have seen) and is just an all around great companion. We do think she would be fine with older kids. She came from a home with another cat so would likely be fine with another cat or 2 in her new home with proper introductions. To our knowledge Smug has never lived with dogs but if the dog ignored her she would likely get used to them also. This girl will easily over eat if allowed and it there are other cats in the home she will be happy to finish their food also - so a feeding schedule with her in her own space would be best. She is in great health with no medical issues - heck you'll have a hard time believing she is 12! Smug would be a great addition to most any home.
