About Copper

He gets along with everybody and he is an angel in his foster home! Copper was picked up as a stray and was taken to the county shelter. Copper had some history with young children under 5, I really can not imagine, but the shelter mentioned to us and we thought we should pass it on. He has shown absolutely no aggression at all, we do not know if the child was hitting or pulling on his ears, etc. I am sure there was some reason poor Copper had to defend himself. COPPER HAS WONDERFUL HOUSE MANNERS, he will let you know when he needs to go out and he has been a joy in his foster home Copper is a big boy, he weighs approximately 81 pounds. He is approximately 5 years old. He appears to be well socialized, he moved right into rescue like he owned the place, he was comfortable to come in the house and take a nap on the dog bed. Copper would be a great dog for an apartment or townhouse living. He is happy to watch Animal Planet while his family is at work or school. Copper loves the leash, he loves going on walks and exploring. He would make a great hiking partner.
