Lyle was rescued out of sheer pity. He is, like many Catahoula dogs, partially blind and totally deaf. I expected him to be very difficult to deal with. He has surprised me, he can see well enough to respond to hand gestures and he is usually looking toward you trying to make out what it is that you want. He is eager to please, loving and if he is startled he doesn't respond aggressively, He doesn't have accidents in the house, he does occasionally chew things he shouldn't. He is probably about 16 months old. He loves a variety of other dogs and he would probably be happiest in a home with other friendly dogs. He loves cuddling, He is heartworm negative, up to date on shots and neutered, also microchipped. He is ready to find his forever people... all adopters MUST be: stable homeowners with a securely fenced yard, and have current or past dog who you have a history of providing excellent care to. Please call Audrey if you can meet this criteria 484-844-0374. Lyle is a wonderful dog, in spite of his disabilities, anyone would be lucky to have him.
