About Zero

This cute guy is Zero, a 45-50 pounds Cattledog mix who was born in September 2021. Zero knows his basic obedience commands and is also house trained. He knows how to use the dog door. Zero is good with other dogs, large and small. He does like to play and will prefer a home with a confident dog. Zero is a shy guy, great with his people but hesitant around new people, mostly men. He prefers a polite introduction. He is looking for a quiet household, where there aren't lots of guests. He has nipped people a few times when someone new has been exuberant, near his person whom he thinks he may need to protect. Someone who ensures polite introductions and has a quiet environment will be a benefit to Zero. He keeps getting better meeting people as he has more polite introductions. He just doesn't like at age people being loud and moving in ways that can be seen as scary. Zero is good on leash and good in the car. He would love a home that is active and takes him on adventures. He would be a good hiking, jogging, and camping companion. Zero is very sweet and very relaxed at home with his people. Click on the red YouTube button to watch Zero being polite at dinner time. He gets comfortable enough to lay on his back with his legs and arms up! He will lay on his people, cuddle, and relax. He just needs someone who gives him confidence. Zero is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Canyon Lake, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
