About Katy

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $250 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Katy is a lively, happy little dog! Cuteness is her middle name. She is a 10-year-old, 13 pound Yorkie mix, as sweet as they come. She is an excellent medium energy dog who has her little bursts of energy, but then quickly settles down with a chew toy when it's time to relax. Her foster mom says she's a very sweet dog who adores your affections and attentions. If you let her, Katy enjoys sleeping on the bed, and she is always eager to get close and cuddle. Her most endearing quality is her expressive eyes that simply shine when she sees you, even if you've only been gone a brief time. Katy has been working hard on her house training, and we'd say she is mostly there, as long as she's taken out consistently and does use potty pads when needed. She is also crate trained and can certainly stay in one as required if this is your routine; however, she will shine her brightest with a forever family who is home with her more often than they aren't. Katy says she's very fond of toys and would like to have lots in her new home; the soft ones are the best! She needs only much older kids, if any, in her new home, as she can be possessive with her things, but does do amazingly with her feline foster friends. She loves going for walks on the leash and gets very excited when you mention going outside for a walk.
