My boyfriend and I found this beautiful sweet German Shepherd on Thanksgiving night 2021. We named her LOBA ('wolf' in Spanish) We estimated that she was 4-6 months old; still a puppy, but had her big girl teeth. No tags on the collar, no microchip, looked for owners for 2-weeks and no luck. We have 3 other dogs and 3 cats; 1 GSD/Belgian mix that was planned, 1 Belgian that we FOUND starved & abused that we took in, and 1 10-year old bully breed from our friends that moved away to Germany (Bully breeds are illegal in Germany and they asked if we would take her). After we found Loba, we were able to kennel train her, but because of our new work schedules (long hours, long commutes), we lack time to properly train her the way we were able to with the other dogs. She is incredibly sweet, but she is very easily distracted by our other dogs. She definitely has doggy ADHD. She needs serious 1-on-1 time and she needs to be in a home where she is either the only dog, or maybe with one other dog. Her housebreaking is 50/50. If we take her out on a leash, she will go pee. She poops at night. But if we let her out off leash, she gets distracted, plays with dogs, chases cats/squirrels, forgets to go to the bathroom and ends up having accidents in the house. She also as high anxiety. I'm unsure if she was abused, but I think she might have been because sometimes she gets nervous and pees. Thankfully, this has decreased dramatically. she's REALLY FASCINATED by cats... like ALF, and she's fine with them as long as she's not left alone with them, but occasionally she chases them.
