FIFFY -A2018758 In dire need of being saved before being killed!! The Chesterfield Square Animal Services Center is in urgent need of large breed dogs getting adopted or pulled by rescues. All of our kennel spaces, in medical and in general population, are currently full/over capacity. We are having difficulty with finding kennel space for incoming animals, and we are at the point of having to make very difficult decisions that NONE of us want to make. This dog is at Chesterfield Square and is on Orange Alert. She is in need of getting out of the shelter as soon as possible. Animals appearing on Orange Alert require urgent and/or extensive medical care beyond what LAAS can provide. We are looking for a rescue partner that can take her in as she need immediate/on-going help due to her medical concerns. My name is Fiffy and I am a female, brown brindle and white. Arrived at the shelter emaciated, has gained weight; weak in hindlegs, wounds on back leg, masses. The shelter thinks I am about 10 years old. I weigh approximately 32 pounds. I have been at the shelter since Feb 26, 2022. If you choose to adopt this animal you must have him or her examined by your veterinarian within 24 hours. Further veterinary care WILL be required at your expense. For animals under the age of 8 weeks and/or moms with litters, please contact the Center for availability. Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, all animals will be sterilized prior to release.
