The name Felix means 'Happy or Lucky' and this boy is BOTH! Felix is a 2 year old, 72 lb wiggly boy now looking for his adoptive family! He usually goes into his crate easily, sometimes needing to be bribed with treats. He does leash up easily and is excited to go out, so much that this puppy pulls on the leash quite a bit and needs a strong hand to help train him on leash manners. Our rescue wants to help his adoptive home fine tune this behavior and work together to make him an easy boy! Felix is a Velcro Baby, meaning that he is cuddly, clingy, and has some abandonment fear. Felix is bursting with love for his human and wants to show affection 24 hours a day! He loves having constant contact and does best around people. He does get anxious when left alone, which is why crate training in a safe space is important! Eventually once Felix gets truly settled in a home, we can see him being a couch potato all day and excited when his people come home from work! We are requiring a home with no other pets or children under 12. We'd love him to have a big backyard to play and work on his training in! Daily exercise also helps his anxiety so he can settle down and sleep!
