About Prospero

This magical kitty man is Prospero a handsome seven to eight year old gentleman. Rescued from life on the streets on March 19, 2017, Prospero was adopted on April 22, 2018, and thought he had found the perfect home. He was best buddies with his adopters original kitty son and quite comfortable with his life as a kitty brother and big brother to the adopters new born first child. Sadly on March 13th of this year, his adoptive Mom contacted me to ask if I would take Prospero back. According to her he was having difficulty adjusting to the family's second born baby and the family's recently adopted exuberant puppy. Since return to my care, the Spro Pro has been an absolute dear, once again a snuggle up a puss and a cuddler and lap hog. He was initially a tad fearful of my personal kitties and doggies, but has settled in nicely after a week. He very much likes to be talked to by and close to his humans. He does still at times seemed startled by quick movements, but relaxes quickly when I talked to him and gently pet him. As he thrives on attention, he would do best in a home with someone who has the ability to interact with him on a regular and frequent basis. He has been neutered, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, is microchipped and will be rabies and distemper booster on April 5th as his adopters did not have his vaccines boosted in 2021. Spro is a portly putty weighing in at 14 pounds. While he will play with toys he prefers being his human's companion, a television watching buddy and a lap hog.
