About Charlie

Charlie has been in our family since a pup. He is great with 'his people', has spent time at the dog park and most recently has lived with us and our dog of the same breed. He came to stay with us 6 mos ago when our daughter (owner) had a baby. He is extremely protective of his home and people. His challenges include lunging on leash, barking at strangers approaching the house, and place of business and he has a couple of biting incidents. Because we have a business and can't keep him there due to barking & potential aggressiveness to unknown clients & we can't leave him alone at home for 10 hrs we need to rehome him. He needs a firm hand and strong supervision when there is a lot of stimulation. He has his challenges but he loving to his people. We are heartbroken that we can't keep him and do not want him euthanized. If you have the ability to manage a challenging dog who is healthy, strong and loving, once bonded, Char is for you!
