INDOOR ONLY HOMES One male and one female lionhead babies available. Mama bun was rescued from the streets of Riverside on January 5 and gave birth on January 16. These adorable baby bunnies have been well socialized at their foster home. Baby bunnies require alfalfa hay and baby rabbit pellets until approximately eight months of age or so. As adult bunnies, they need Timothy or orchard hay and adult rabbit food pellets, The bunnies are available on a foster-to-adopt basis. When the bunnies are old enough for their spay/neuter appointment at four or five months of age, they will need to return to the rescue so I can transport them to the vet for their appointment. After the spay/neuter is done, the adoption will be finalized. The bunnies can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation is conducted. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit and a questionnaire will be emailed to you. Thank you! If your bunny can't be free roaming INDOOR or live in a room INDOORS or a section of a room, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY wire grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative. If a cage/hutch or used then it is best of the door is left open and an x-pen placed around it. Don't have the items you need to welcome a bunny to your home? No problem, I have low cost x-pen enclosures, litter boxes, bunny litter, hay, food pellets and toys to make new bunny ownership easier for you. Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
