About Matilda

***adoption pending*** This pretty gal is Matilda, an Australian Cattledog girl who was born in April, 2021. She weighs about 25 pounds and will grow just a bit more. Matilda knows her basics: sit, shake, and down. She is house trained and crate trained. She also knows how to use a dog door. Matilda is good on leash. She is excited in the car so does best in a harness or a crate. She will require an adopter who is ready to keep up with training and help her be less exciteable on leash when she sees other dogs or people playing soccer. Matilda is great with people. She even loves kids, but given her excitement she is not a fit for small kids. Matilda is good with other dogs and loves to play. She will chase any dog who is fetching. She is also good with cats and plays with them, but she does play rough so any cat pals must be dog savvy. Matilda is very active. She will require a home with a yard. She is a little acrobat with tons of energy and playful demeanor. Matilda loves to give kisses and hugs. When you're sick or down she'll snuggle and cuddle. Matilda Is eager to please and loves her dog, cat and human family. Matilda is a busy girl who needs either a yard or someone really active to keep her busy. She is also a talker! She has things to say when she plays, when she wants someone to play, and just generally doesn't mind speaking her mind. Therefore, she isn't a fit for an apartment. Matilda is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
