This HANDSOME guy is neutered, fully vetted and healthy! 1 year old bully mix, a 65# brindle chocolate chunk! Janko was found tied to a tree in the remote area of the Everglades in January 2022 by good samaritans on bicycles. Luckily Paw Patrol Animal Rescue took him on and got him a foster home in Fort Myers, FL where he is currently located. He is crate and potty trained, and sleeps in his crate all night. Janko is a (April 2022) graduate of Drool School www.facebook.com/DroolSchoolFL/ He went to board and train boot camp for 2 weeks and learned some manners! Janko now knows 10+ commands and walks on leash beautifully. During his intense pro training Janko got experience on leash with farm animals (cats, chickens, horses, pigs and ducks), he was non-reactive and calm during all encounters. He definitely wanted the cats to be his friends. Janko would do best with another young large breed dog to play with, currently his bestie is an American Bulldog (formerly Jolie who was adopted from Paw Patrol Rescue), but he knows to leave his older small senior foster sister alone and respects her space. Janko still needs someone with time to work with him on his manners and continue his training. Foster mom is currently working on Janko's training daily, but even better Drool School has offered to help the new adopter learn the commands for Janko to ensure he continues to be the best dog he can be! This young boy is high energy, very playful, and curious - doesn't know his own size. After a long day of playing he turns into a snuggly sweet boy wanting to be right next to you napping on the couch. REQUIREMENTS: Janko needs a secure fenced yard, another young playful dog, and must have large bully breed experience. No renters/HOA breed restrictions. No children under 13 years old. Lay/Down (work in progress) Janko is available for adoption in Fort Myers and surrounding areas. Transportation is NOT provided, must be willing to meet WITH CURRENT DOG(s) in Fort Myers. To adopt a pet from Paw Patrol Animal Rescue & Sanctuary you must be at least 25 years old, be able to provide references and identification, consent to a home visit, & pay the adoption fee of $450.00. The first step, if interested in adopting, is to submit an application online at www.pawpatrolanimalrescue.com only if you meet ALL mandatory requirements, and pay a $25 application fee. ONLY if your application is considered a good match, a volunteer will contact you with further steps. If you don't meet these requirements, your application will NOT be considered.
