About Piper

Meet our very own active and spontaneous girl Piper! Pipers' owner passed away unexpectedly from Covid. Leaving a hole in the heart of those that she loved and cared for deeply. Piper was confused at first why she was at the Shelter. She learned to adapt well to her surroundings. She did come in with four other furry feline friends but making new kitty friends is a slow process for this girl. She does well overtime. Piper has a bit of a dominate personality. She enjoys loving and pets on her own terms. For that reason, we think Piper would do well in a home with older children. (8 yrs. and up) While canine friends she had never lived with. A slow introduction might be the best for her. Piper really enjoys interactive play toys, catnip, and temptation treats. She does enjoy a bit of wet and dry food in her diet. Although she thinks Tuna is the best as well. Piper is current on her adult vaccines, spayed, and Felv/fiv tested negative. She has flea and tick preventative and wormed.
