About Minnie

Meet Minnie. This sweet little lady is a 'complete joy to be around' so says her foster mom! Minnie is a 14-pound Chiweenie and is approximately 7-8-year-old. She will need a special forever home as she does have limited vision in her left eye and is very sensitive under her belly and on her backside. If she is touched in these areas, she will growl and get a bit snappy. Due to this sensitivity, NO small children for Minnie, please. She enjoys chasing and playing with her squeaky ball and usually wears out her foster mom before she tires out! Minnie would do best with someone who is retired or home most of the time. She is housetrained but will have the occasional accident. She loves soft food and soft treats and has no food aggression. She loves snuggling in her bed under her blanket at night and for her naps throughout the day. She is not a big snuggler with her humans, but they may change over time. Her new forever family will need to be patient, as she does take a bit to warm up, but she is wonderful you gain her trust. Minnie will make a wonderful companion and will bring joy to her forever family, just as she has to her foster parents!
