Howdy! My name is Chani, and I'm a friendly, affectionate, playful, and loyal silver and white 70-pound Alaskan Malamute mix gal who was born in January 2018. I'm well-behaved and a joy to be with. I'm a gentle lass who's great with kids and other dogs. Even though Malamutes were bred for hard work pulling sleds, I dream of snuggling with my humans when the workday is over. I was dumped, but thank heavens I ended up with Miss Donna to find me a wonderful new home. I recently had pups, and I miss them, but I enjoy playing with my toy elephant-ball and monkey-ball. I pretend that they are the pups whom I miss so much. We Malamutes tend to be athletic dogs who love the outdoors but do well indoors as house pets. We thrive on attention and companionship, which make us devoted, trustworthy pets. Just a word of warning: we Malamutes need a firm, loving human whose training is consistent and whom we respect, or we'll end up owning him instead of the other way around. Chani is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully trained. Her adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
