[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Bella is very, very sweet with adults and children. She barks her head off at first and when people get up to move around or when they leave. She is very good at guarding the house. She is not fond of other dogs and should be the only dog in a home. She does not like my sweet dachshund, whom she has been with for 2 years. He loves to play and she doesn't. She will play with toys with a human. She is nervous, is very fearful of fireworks and guns firing, and won't go potty outside if she hears guns or fireworks. She is not fond of the rain. She uses thin red blankets as puppy pads in the house; she needs to go outside to go potty every 1-1/2 hours during the day. In the evening and at night, she can hold it. I always let her out before I go to bed, even at 3:00 am. She LOVES walks and loves to be walked several times a day. She gives kisses endlessly. She throws herself over for chest and belly rubs constantly, and I have curtailed this/she's better. She now enjoys head and back rubs. I think she was severely abused and starved before I got her. She was very underweight and her coat felt like a fake fur hat; now her weight is perfect (8.5-9 lbs) and her coat is silky.) She eats ground turkey and Fresh Pet + chopped up, warm, cooked soft, sliced carrots for dessert morning and evening. (They were previously frozen) She vomits from chicken or any food with chicken in it--not always but frequently, so I avoid chicken. She is a couch potato and burrows under blankets. She is part Chihuahua, part Rat Terrier. She needs to be adored and she needs to be the only pet. She deserves it. She needs all the love and rubs she can get. She loves to be held. I have tried for 2 years, but she just does not want to be with my alpha dachshund. She is a lover of a little girl dog who will be 4 on 1/27, but she cannot share a home with another animal. She is so very pretty, isn't she?!
