About Dashiell - adopt pend

Meet Dashiell. This sweet guy is looking for a new home. His previous owners moved away and just left him behind. Dashiell loves people and gets along great with other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. He loves to play but is more interested in cuddles! Our handsome boy is an excellent hugger and loves to be petted. Dashiell loves treats and prefers to eat soft food. Dashiell is 6 years old and weighs about 37 pounds. Please help Dashiell find the loving home he deserves. Update: Dashiell tested positive for Lyme's and Ehrlicchia, two common tick borne diseases. At some point, he felt poorly and seen by a vet. He was given fluids, meds and an ultrasound to rule out anything serious. Since he has completed his course of antibiotic treatment, Dashiell has been doing very well and finally feeling like himself again. Dashiell is finally ready to find his forever family! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
