About Diesel

Have you ever wanted the true 'rescue' experience? This is Diesel, and he needs a savior! He's a 15 mo. old Great Pyrenees Boxer mix, and he's not very socialized. What that looks like for Diesel - terrified of humans but seems to prefer kids, wanders around very nervous not really knowing his place, lots of tucked tail, backs himself into corners when he feels trapped (if someone is blocking a doorway or too many people are standing around between him and his perceived escape path, no aggression��%BD'��%BD|just highly terrified. He behaves like a puppy mill dog. We will be VERY picky about who he goes to as he HAS to continue training to become confident and social or his quality of life will be awful as he will go through life completely terrified and lacking confidence. We will continue to work with him and you may even see us out and about in town to expose him to more people and situations sometime down the road once he feels safe with us. At this point it will take a VERY dedicated adopter to help this sweet boy through this extremely hard transition. On the plus side, he's neutered and fully vaccinated!
