Unfortunately, Callie has had multiple owners. Her first family surrendered her to the Humane Society at 6 years of age, then adopted by a cat lover who hoped to provide her a forever home but 3 years later the owner moved into a care facility and couldn't take her with, so Callie moved into a home with other cats and sadly they just don't get along. So this beautiful girl is once again searching for a home to call her own where she can live out her retirement years. Callie is a sweetie. She loves to cuddle up next to you on your favorite chair or on your lap and snuggles right up next to her people in bed at night. She loves to play - her favorites are a laser pointer and feather toy. Callie is a talker and loves to drink water from the bathroom sink. Callie loves a good sun puddle or napping on a chair. Callie would thrive best in a home as the only pet (i.e., queen of the house.) She does well with strangers and will come around for some petting and conversation. She is litter box trained and has good house manners. Callie is healthy and up to date on all her medical needs. Shots in August of 2021. Full dental work in May 2021. Callie was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in early 2021, which requires medication daily to keep it in check (cream applied to inside tip of ear) for life, the cost is $64 for a 3-month supply. Callie is healthy and doing great! The person fostering her will supply adopter with some food, a cat box, and several months of her hyperthyroidism cream for the new owners to get started with.
