Poor Coal had a rough start to life but he is ready to put that behind him. Rescued from a neglect situation, he had an acorn stuck in his intestine and was literally starving to death. Emergency surgery removed the acorn, and he is on the road to recovery and doing great now. Like any puppy, Coal will need consistent and positive training in order to become the best canine good citizen he can be. At 4 months of age, he is pretty much a blank slate. He is also shy but comes around quickly with patience and TLC! Coal is a mixed breed and is definitely not non-shedding. We don't know if he will ever grow into his ears...maybe he is related to Dobby the house elf.
