Mountain Cur / Beagle
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $250 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. *** In honor of Betty White, the listed adoption donation is reduced by half for the month of January! *** Walker is a very sweet and loving boy, with a quiet, earnest side. This 1-year-old Beagle mix (best guess) weighs 25 pounds. He's very smart, athletic and learns quickly. Walker is a lover boy who is confident once he is in a familiar place. He wants to be with his person and is very attentive to them. He wants to please and is doing very well with housetraining. Walker enjoys sitting on the couch with his head and paws on your lap. He loves to run and play with other pups of all sizes. He also enjoys laying on his bed chewing a bone or laying in the sun. He likes to go for walks and has learned to play with toys. Walker is timid of new things - don't let his initial timidness fool you, however as once he's in his element he is so much fun! Walker absolutely loves to be around and play with other dogs of any size. He's not been around children but when taken to the park he showed interest and wanted to go to where they were playing. He sleeps in his bed beside his fosters' at night and in a crate when they leave the house. Walker is very smart and catches on quickly, he already learned to Sit on command and is eager to learn more. He's most outgoing around other dogs and has a 'skip' in his walk when he's around them. He does pretty well on a leash, pulls a little but doesn't mind it. He is a bit nervous in the car but rides well for short distances. We feel the best fit for Walker would be one with a family that has another energetic young dog and a person that's home more often than not.
