Finley is fostered in the Dallas area. Limited transport can be arranged with the adopter.Mr Finley is the sweetest fellow. He loves hip and belly rubs, wags his tail at all the people he loves. Finley wants a forever home where he is special. Friendly and very outgoing, getting along with all people, children of all ages and other large dogs. He especially likes other male dogs. He does not care for small yappy dogs in the home. Finley enjoys being out of doors and knows how to use a doggie door. He will bark at squirrels in the yard. He would love to have a home with a fenced in yard. He loves his people also and will follow them around the house. Finley is a purebred Chow Chow, cinnamon in Chow coloring, but more easily called fawn. He is 2-3 years old. Still puppy playful, he and his foster bro or sister, play all day and then relax on the couch if permitted. Finley has no issue with being house trained. He is also crate trained but does not need it. Finley is not destructive inside the home at all.He does enjoy toys and kongs. Finley weighs 50 pounds. He rides well in a car and wants to ride shotgun next to you also. Finley has his parvo distemper vaccinations, bordetella, corona vaccination and has been neutered. Finley tested negative on his heartworm test and has been microchipped. He is on flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and has been dewormed. He walks fine on a leash with other dogs and pulls, like most Chows. His foster just sticks his heartworm pill into Finley's mouth with no problems. Finley and his foster bro, eat in separate bowls with no food aggression. Finley will tolerate a cat inside the home after some time adjusting.
