About Charlie

It's always hard to have your life uprooted. To have your leash handed over to a stranger who walks you away to an unknown life. Charlie had no idea why he ended up at a kill shelter because he knew he didn't do anything wrong. Well, the SAFE Rescue Team said 'no way is Charlie going to end up as a statistic!' So off he went with a rescue volunteer, got vetted, and is now ready to ring in the New Year with you! Things to know about Charlie, who is seriously so perfect. ��%90 8 years old, 12 lbs of floof. Maybe a Maltese with a little Havanese, Coton and Shih Tzu thrown in for good measure. ��%90 Loves dogs, kids, adults and loves to play! ��%90 He knows how to tell you when it's time to check his outside messages and get his 'business' done. No indoor marking. ��%90 He has a squeaky Chihuahua voice because he was debarked by whoever had him before being dumped. ��%90 He's had a checkup and all is good. He's a bit stiff in his back leg, but doesn't stop him from getting to where he has to go. Charlie would love to meet you and talk about a life together.
