About PHOENIX

Phoenix is a 27lb, female shepherd mix who is about 1 year old. She is very nervous at first but does eventually warm up. She needs a patience adopter that will show her love does exist in this world. She gets nervous around men and it is believe that she was abused by a man in the past. She does well with other dogs but prefers them to stay out of her face; ideally, she would like to be the only dog. Dogs that are low energy may be best for Phoenix, she would also enjoy getting all the attention as a solo pet!
