About Barsik

My name is Barsik. I'm a 3 yr. old male Mini Poodle, a puppy mill breeder surrender. I wasn't interested in breeding so the puppy miller decided to release me to a rescue so I can find my forever home. I'm still working on my social skills, I didn't have much interaction with humans at the mill so my adopters will need to be very patient with me and give me plenty of time and space to adjust. Little children make me nervous, and I can nip out of fear if I am cornered so a mature experienced home would be the best for me. I also need to have another dog (preferably female) with me, to help me to learn how to be a pet and to keep me comfortable. I will let you pick me up, hold me and pet me once I get used to you and my new surroundings. It may take a couple of weeks or even few months, but I will eventually warm up to you. My ideal owner would have experience with puppy mill dogs like me who need patience and love to teach me that I can trust humans. I don't know how to walk on the leash yet and I am petrified in public loud places, I would prefer quiet house with a secure yard. I like to play with other dogs! I do have all of my shots, I am neutered and microchipped. Please submit an application if you think you can help me!
